Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia (JKDM) will implement data validation on Bank Guarantee/General Bond data fields in Customs Declaration No.8 (K8) effective 15^th April 2014(Tuesday). Please refer to the attached letter by JKDM dated 08^th April 2014 with ref no: KE.HK(-)145/09-1 klt.13(1) which is self explanatory.

The following are the K8 transaction types that will be validated:

The validation will cover the following criteria:

1)    The correctness of the Reference No

2)    Validity period of the Bank Guarantee/General Bond[Active,Expired]

3)    Current status of the Bank Guarantee/General Bond[cancel/suspended]

4)    The amount of Bank Guarantee/General Bond
