ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE REGIONAL COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP FOR THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON 2 JANUARY 2023

MITI is pleased to inform that the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) will enter into force for the Republic of Indonesia on 2 January 2023.

Indonesia will join the twelve other signatory countries, namely Singapore, China, Japan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, Viet Nam, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Malaysia that have completed the ratification process.

All procedures of applying for the RCEP remains the same as prior announcement. Form RCEP has to be printed on ISO A4 size white paper and along with Overleaf Notes at the back of each page. All approved preferential certificate of origin (PCO) for this scheme had implemented electronically affixed signature and official seal. Exporter shall endorse and submit a copy of PCO to MITI or nearest MITI Regional office on a monthly basis.
