Pengimport adalah diingatkan supaya mendapatkan Perakuan Kelulusan (COA) daripada Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) terlebih dahulu sebelum ingin mengimport kelengkapan elektrik. Pengimport dinasihatkan membuat perancangan yang terbaik dengan mula membawa shipment setelah berjaya mendapat COA dari ST. Ini bagi mengelakkan masalah penyimpanan yang mungkin timbul bila mana permohonan COA tidak diluluskan. Dengan ini ST tidak akan bertanggungjawab seandainya masalah tersebut berlaku kepada pengimport yang ingkar ke atas notis ini.

Notice from Energy Commission (EC)

Importers are reminded to obtain the Certificate of Approval (COA) from the Energy Commission (EC) prior to importing electrical equipments. Importers are advised to make the best planning by initiating a shipment upon successfully obtaining COA from the EC to avoid storage problems that can arise if the application to get the COA is not approved.  The EC will not be liable if the problem occurs due to the failure of importers to comply with this notice.
