What is Electronic Preferential Certificate of Origin (ePCO)?

The ePCO Portal is a web-based Certificate of Origin application and approval system. It allows traders and authorities to certify the country of origin of products in order to satisfy Customs or other trade requirements, and can also be used by other authorised parties as a supporting document for issuing Certificates of Origin.

With ePCO, traders can enjoy faster turnaround times and real-time tracking capabilities. The ePCO Portal provides:

• Online applications of Cost Analysis and Preferential Certificate of Origin forms.
• Online approvals by authorised issuing agency Ministry of International Trade and  Industry(MITI).

• Online application status tracking

The ePCO currently caters to the following schemes:

• ASEAN Industrial Cooperation (AICO)

• ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Area (AKFTA)

• Generalized System of Preferences (GSP)
• TEXTILE
