DEPARTMENT OF VETERINARY SERVICES

The Department of Veterinary Services issues permit for the importation and exportation of live animal and animal product under the legislation of Animal Act 1953 (Revised 2006) and Animal Food Act 2009 (Act 698).

Veterinary Health Certificate (VHC) is issued under the legislation of Section 24, Veterinary Surgeons Act 1974, Act 147 that allows only competent veterinary authority to endorse and sign the Veterinary Health Certificate.

Below is the list of permit issued by the Deparment of Veterinary Services:

  1. Haiwan 26 - Import permit for Day Old Chick (DOC), Day Old Duck (DOD) and telur SPF
  2. Haiwan 25 - Export permit for animal product and live animal, Import permit for live animal
  3. Haiwan 27- Import permit for animal products / carcass
  4. Haiwan 29 - Freedom Health Certificate ( for animal product only)

Jabatan Perkhidmatan Veterinar telah menarik balik pengantungan pengimportan produk yang berasaskan babi. Mana-mana syarikat yang ingin mengimport dikehendaki mengemukakan permohonan secara bertulis kepada jabatan berkenaan dengan menggunakan borang JPPH-MOA-5 berserta surat iringan sebelum meneruskan permohonan permit secara talian.

The Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) has lifted the suspension for importation of pork products/cuts. Any company that is interested to import, is required to submit the application (in writing) to DVS using the form JPPH-MOA-5 together with a cover letter before proceeding with the online ePermit application.

Temporary Suspension of DVS ePayment

Effective 8 Aug 2012, the electronic payment service at Department of Veterinary Services has been temporarily suspended until further notice.

DVS - All import permits must be stamped and signed at the counter upon collection

Please be informed that starting from 8 Aug 2012, all import permits issued by the Department of Veterinary Services must be stamped and signed at the counter upon collection.

Pengeksportan sarang burung ke Hong Kong telah dibuka semula

Sila ambil maklum, pengeksportan sarang burung ke Hong Kong telah dibuka semula tertakluk kepada syarat-syarat berikut:

  1. Pengeksport berdaftar dengan DVS
  2. Produk dari premis perladangan atau premis pemprosesan yang berdaftar dengan DVS

 

Veterinary - Easy steps to fill in the permit application form

In the ePermit system, applicants are only required to fill in the fields marked with mandatory remark (*). However, if you have additional information to be filled in the fields without (*), you are allowed to do so. For import permit application, the Veterinary Health Certificate information or number from exporting country is not required. The Veterinary Health Certificate, Halal Certificate and Invoice are only required once the consignment has arrived at the Malaysian entry point.
